Our timeline
The start of things
In 2013, Sunday consisted of 2 motivated young guys with big dreams. At first there was no fancy office, no employees, …
The only thing there was, was the desire to build an unique company that could change the fashion industry forever.
Niels Vandecasteele & Steven Callens started Sunday out of their parent’s living room. At the time being, it was even called Night Essentials! The small living room soon became a huge 600m² office space with more than 50 highly-motivated & talented individuals that are now designing and creating company fashion for brands in more than 45 countries!

What’s in a name?
On Sunday people do and wear what they want. Sunday is the ultimate symbol of personal preference. People play sports on Sunday, they do family BBQs on Sunday, they go out on Sunday or they decide to stay home on Sunday. On Sunday we are who we are.
If you can get inside someone’s Sunday as a brand, you’re forever in their heart.
From our first client conversation, we always used the example of people only wearing merchandise to mow their lawn or paint their house. Sunday is the complete opposite. We create company fashion that people proudly wear on Sunday.
