Like many other companies, all colleagues have been working from home since March 2020. In their sector, the 'business switch' went quite smoothly. On the other hand, the loss of the bustling office atmosphere was quite a challenge. The informal chats and tea or coffee moments are undoubtedly missed.
Boost your company culture
It is also no secret that working from home is not obvious to everyone. Some people need the office environment to work in a focused way. Many have children, live with friends or live alone and miss people around them.
But, in opposition to this, research predicts that the concept of working from home will only gain popularity thanks to its simplicity. There’s no need for office buildings, people just stay home (or go to a co-working space) and do their thing from there. A whopping 99% of employees working from home state to be very happy with the arrangement.
Good communication, a glimpse of appreciation once a while and a great onboarding is necessary to make this work.

"We’ve been working with Sunday for 2 years now and they have shown us how multi applicable merchandise really is. We now have custom welcome packages to help make new employees feel right at home, unique t-shirts we can wear at fairs and personalized sportswear our team members can bond over while going out for a run. Our merchandise helps us get a lot of visibility and it’s bringing our team even closer."
Invest in your company culture!
As a company that values a culture of connectedness, the moments together are clearly missed. A lot of alternatives were thought out. Virtual team buildings were organized, employees received a cocktail package and a fruit basket, a quiz was played and radio was made. But nothing could equal the informal coffee moments at the office.
It was with this in mind that the genius plan came about. Why don't we bring the coffee and/or tea machine to the employees?

Each of the 150 colleagues received a visit from his or her manager with a tea or coffee and a cookie from their (currently technical unemployed) kitchen team.
The van went from colleague to colleague and made the informal chat possible again. For this action they worked together with Amuse Amusante, a caterer and one of their customers who is having a hard time at the moment. Win-win for both of them.
Togetherness in a box
Besides coffee, tea and a cookie, every employee received a surprise box from Sunday. This was filled with homemade granola made by the kitchen team, a beautiful personalized hoodie and T-shirt and a handwritten card from the CEO. As the icing on the cake, a Polaroid photo was taken at every stop, as a tangible reminder.
For the clothing, they could rely on us. We made sure that all pieces were outstanding and unforgettable. As a company with a diverse team, the merch had to be applicable for both women, men, young and old. Therefore the pieces they chose were Create hoodies and T-shirts. For the design, they went for something special, an all-over print containing their logo in a subtle way.
