Three companies now let you send physical things from an AI assistant. They solve different problems. Here's a fair, dated comparison, written by one of the three.
Part of our complete guide to Sunday MCP: manage your merch from Claude, ChatGPT or Gemini.
Goody MCP and Sendoso MCP are gifting MCPs: they let an AI assistant choose and send gifts, from third-party brands in Goody's case and as gifts plus direct mail in Sendoso's. Sunday MCP is a merch MCP: it manages your own branded merchandise, from ideas and quotes to stock, reorders, shipments and gifting.
We make Sunday, so read this knowing that. We've kept competitor facts to what Goody and Sendoso announced at launch in June 2026, and we say where each one is the better fit. If something has changed since, the vendor's own page wins.
The short version
Goody and Sendoso automate buying and sending someone else's product. Sunday automates running your own merch: things designed in your brand, produced, held in your stock and shipped when you need them. Gifting is one part of what Sunday MCP does. For Goody and Sendoso, it's the whole point.
If you want a nice third-party gift in a prospect's hands fast, a gifting MCP is built for that. If you want to ask "how many hoodies do we have left" and get a reorder quote back, that's a merch MCP.

What is Goody MCP?
Goody launched its gifting MCP on 25 June 2026. It's self-serve and live: per its launch coverage, you add it to Claude as a custom connector in about five minutes. From there, an assistant can pick and send curated gifts from more than 600 third-party brands, with names like YETI, Apple and Bombas in the mix.
Controls at launch were sensible: you review each gift before it goes out, and you can set daily budget limits. Goody's own framing is "gifting as a programmable layer", which is a fair description of what it does.
What is Sendoso MCP?
Sendoso announced its MCP a day earlier, on 24 June 2026, as a request-based beta. It covers gifting and direct mail, with Claude and ChatGPT named as supported assistants, and you approve the send in chat.
Sendoso positions it as the "first enterprise-ready MCP that takes action in the physical world". For teams already running Sendoso programs, it brings that existing setup into the assistant. If you're weighing the platforms themselves rather than their MCPs, we've compared them in Sunday vs Sendoso.
What is Sunday MCP?
Sunday MCP connects Sunday's whole merchandise platform to any assistant that supports MCP, including Claude, ChatGPT and Gemini. Whatever you do in the platform today, you can ask for in a conversation: product and pre-made kit suggestions, price calculations, quotes, design requests, shipment planning, sending merch and gifts, reporting, and data questions such as current stock or your most popular shipping countries.
Behind it is the platform that more than 4,000 brands use to design, produce, store and ship merch to 200+ countries, from a 10-piece minimum. The Sunday MCP guide covers the full scope.
You, in ChatGPT · Illustrative example: Send these three customers a nice gift. Keep it on brand and around 50 euros each.
Sunday MCP: Here are two pack ideas from your catalog in that range. I've generated both packs in your Sunday account and prepared a quote. Once someone approves it through the link, I'll plan the three shipments for you to confirm.
What's the real difference between a merch MCP and a gifting MCP?
Where the product comes from. A gifting MCP chooses from a catalog of other companies' products and ships one. A merch MCP works on products made in your brand, which means a few things a gifting catalog can't touch.
- Your stock. Sunday MCP can tell you what's left in your own inventory, by item and size.
- Reorders. One prompt turns last spring's order into a new quote.
- Design. You can request designs on products, with brand sign-off staying with your team.
- Budgets across a program. Ask for a split of 20,000 euros across a year of onboarding, events and gifts, based on what's popular in the catalog.
- Recurring jobs. Welcome kits, event forecasts and partner kits are programs, not one-off sends.
None of that makes gifting MCPs worse. A good gift from a brand people already love doesn't need your logo to land well with a prospect. It just means they're answering a different question.

A real Sunday mailer with a printed line on the lid. Custom packaging, copy included, is part of a branded merch program and the kind of detail a third-party gift catalog doesn't cover.
How do the approval controls compare?
All three keep a person involved. They put the checkpoint in different places.
| Where the human checkpoint sits | |
|---|---|
| Goody MCP | Review each gift before it sends, with daily budget limits as a ceiling |
| Sendoso MCP | Approve the send in the chat |
| Sunday MCP | The agent cannot place an order at all. It prepares a quote, a person approves it through a link, and shipments need separate human confirmation. Designs are signed off by your team. |
Which one fits your team?
Goody MCP fits if
You want to send a good gift from a well-known brand quickly, your logo doesn't need to be on it, and you want to set it up yourself today.
Sendoso MCP fits if
You already run gifting or direct mail through Sendoso, your team uses Claude or ChatGPT, and you're happy to be part of a beta.
Sunday MCP fits if
Your merch carries your brand. You hold stock, reorder kits, run onboarding, events or partner programs, and want ideas that fit your audience without browsing a full catalog. It also fits partners and agencies who handle merch requests for their clients, which is one of the groups Sunday is rolling it out to now, alongside teams with large merch programs.

Can you use more than one?
Yes. MCP servers are independent, so a single assistant can have several connected at once. Some teams will reasonably use a gifting MCP for one-off thank-yous and Sunday for everything carrying their brand.
